WACO, Texas (KWTX) - Texas drivers are seeing a little relief at the pump this week as the statewide gas price average dropped to $3. 64 for a gallon of regular unleaded, according to the AAA Texas Weekend Gas Watch.

The current average is 6 cents cheaper than last week's average of $3. 70, though motorists are still paying 86 cents more per gallon compared to this day last year.

In Central Texas, drivers in the Killeen-Temple-Fort Hood area are seeing a similar downward trend.
