HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - A Brownsville woman hopes to spread safety awareness after a portable charger exploded in her car and caused second-degree burns on her right arm.
Katy Abete of Brownsville says the June 18 incident prompted about a month of physical recovery.
Abete says she's still recovering emotionally and mentally.
