TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler hosted the 13th annual 'School is Cool' event Thursday at the W.T. Brookshire Center, allowing students to stock up on school supplies.

2,000 backpacks filled with supplies such as notebooks and markers were available for students free of charge.

Dozens of community vendors were on site providing services such as haircuts and vision screenings.
