IOLA, Texas (KBTX) - The Iola ISD school board's Tuesday meeting began with a public forum speaker unlike most the district sees: a fourth grader who told trustees he's worried a proposed manufacturing plant could change his quiet dirt road, and his small town, for good."I like my small town and my small school," Brazos Cooper said.

"And with more population, the town will get bigger and bigger and might get the size of College Station."Cooper, an Iola ISD student who lives near Gibbons Creek, told the board the proposed Terafab manufacturing plant site would be next to his home.

He said he is concerned about machinery and "factory noise," and he worries increased traffic would make it unsafe to ride his bike on the dirt road by his house, like he always has.
