DICKINSON, Texas - Residents at Belle at Bay Colony, a 55-and-over apartment community in Dickinson, say broken security gates have left them frustrated, concerned and questioning who can access their property.

Residents at the complex say they have repeatedly raised concerns about the broken gates, particularly what they describe as an open-door policy that's been created.

Although the signage at the apartment complex says "automatic gates," residents say the reality is very different.
