TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Police directed traffic after a major traffic collision in Tyler, involving two vehicles and sending one person to a local hospital, according to the Tyler Police Department.

The wreck happened at Spur 364 and South Southwest Loop 323, according to police spokesperson Robert Main, who noted the occupant sent to the hospital had non-life-threatening injuries.

The wreck caused a signal light pole to fall across the roadway, which closed several southbound lanes on Loop 323 for several hours while crews worked to repair the signal lights, Main said.
