City council approved a plan to raise bridge tolls to fund upgrades and expansions across Laredo's international bridge system.

(KGNS) - City council approved a plan to raise bridge tolls, setting up a schedule that is sparking questions about how it will affect people who cross the border frequently and border trade.
The phased toll increase plan is designed to help fund major upgrades and expansions across Laredo's international bridge system.
