Emergency management professionals, first responders, healthcare leaders, educators, government officials, nonprofit organizations, and private-sector partners from across the region will gather Thursday, September 10, for the 2026 West Central Texas Emergency Preparedness Conference at the Brownwood Event Center Complex.

The annual conference brings together organizations and individuals responsible for preparing for, responding to, and recovering from emergencies and disasters.

The event provides a regional forum for training, information sharing, professional networking, and strengthening partnerships that support preparedness and community resilience throughout West Central Texas.
