HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A woman is recovering from gunshot wounds after a shooting at an apartment complex, and the suspect is still on the loose, Houston police said.

The Houston Police Department said the shooting happened just before 9 p.m. on Friday on Stella Link Road near the South Loop Freeway in Southwest Houston.

Authorities said the suspect and victim were in a dating relationship.
