ALPINE, Texas (KOSA) - DPS Safety Trooper Zachary Vasquez was released from a rehabilitation center and returned home Wednesday.

Vasquez was seriously injured in a head-on crash near Alpine on June 23.

Crash detailsAccording to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, Vasquez was receiving treatment for injuries sustained in the crash.
