The City of Brownwood shared the following information on social media Thursday: Brownwood showed up in a big way during National Night Out, collecting 2,129 cans of tuna for Good Samaritan Ministries!

Combined with support from United Supermarkets, this year's Tuna Challenge brought in a record 8,625 cans, enough to help Good Samaritan meet its current need for approximately five months.

A special congratulations to Amanda and Heath Bundick's block party, which collected 638 cans and earned this year's Tuna Challenge title.
