BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - Ahead of the 2nd Annual Bryan TX Songwriters Festival in Downtown Bryan, the president of the Brazos Valley Live Music Association, Jerrod Lane, spoke with KBTX about the role they play in connecting artists with fans.

"We're a live music calendar. We promote all live music across the seven or eight counties that we consider Brass Valley, from Huntsville to Kenney to Calvert all the way to Plantersville," Lane said.

The group promotes shows and is involved with the songwriters festival by sponsoring buskers located throughout downtown.
