HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A person is dead, and another is injured after a shooting in north Harris County, according to the sheriff's office.

According to deputies, a 911 caller reported being robbed at gunpoint in the 900 block of Pear Street on Sunday afternoon and that they were following the alleged suspect.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office then said that the caller reported he was shot on John Alber Road near Bauman Road.
