HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- A car crash in McAllen has caused a power outage affecting more than 1,400 customers, according to an AEP Texas outage map.

The power outage is along Nolana Avenue, between Ware Road and Jackson Avenue.

Power is estimated to be restored in the affected areas by midnight.
