TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The capital murder trial of a Tyler man accused in the brutal killing of an 18-year-old woman continued into its seventh day Wednesday at the Smith County Courthouse.

Jamaurea Jermaine Britton, 22, is charged with capital murder in the 2023 death of Dejah Hood.

He potentially faces the death penalty if convicted.
