The Uvalde Leader-News football contest and team sponsorship page for the 2026 season begin in today's edition of the Leader-News.

"Over the years, the paper has run the contest and the sponsorship page in an effort to support the Coyotes and to increase interest in football," said Leader-News general manager Pete Luna.

"We are pleased to be able to run contest and the team sponsorship page again this season. "Thanks go out to area businesses for helping to make both the contest and the sponsorship page possible," said Luna.
