Beyond the heavy rain, lightning created serious hazards across North Texas, with firefighters responding to at least four house fires this morning.

The incidents were spread across Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and Allen.

In the Allen fire, a firefighter suffered nonlifethreatening injuries after falling through a ceiling while working the scene.
