LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock man was arrested after striking a police vehicle and resisting arrest on the West Loop Thursday night, according to the Lubbock Police Department.

Adrian Oregel, 33, was booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center on charges of driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest.

Police say an officer was working to clear debris from the roadway near 19th Street and the West Loop when Oregel's vehicle collided into the back of the officer's vehicle, police said.
