Family-owned Thacker Jewelry has called Roaring Springs home since 1979
Thacker Jewelry, a family-owned business in Roaring Springs, has operated from a former bank building since 1979, with owner Joe Thacker continuing the jewelry manufacturing tradition in his hometown.

ROARING SPRINGS, Texas (KCBD) - Inside a former bank building in the heart of Roaring Springs, jewelers are still manufacturing rings, necklaces and other pieces at Thacker Jewelry - the same location where the store opened nearly 50 years ago.
Owner Joe Thacker returned to his hometown to start the business after getting his start in the jewelry industry in New Mexico.
"But this was home. And we were committed to the community," Thacker said.
