(KGNS) - If you consider yourself a good speller, United Way of Laredo is inviting you to put your skills to work for a good cause.

The organization is preparing for its Adult Spelling Bee Team Contest and silent auction, which will raise money to support its mission.

Peggy Duncan, executive director of United Way of Laredo, says the idea came after the organization hosted a youth spelling bee in March.
