HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Drivers across the Houston area should prepare for several road closures this weekend, including a shutdown of the connector ramp from IH-69 southbound to the North Loop.

Officials said that the southbound connector ramp between the Eastex Freeway and the North Loop will completely shut down.

The total closure will start at 9 p.m. on Friday and is expected to last until 5 a.m. on Monday.
