Texas is investing $510,000 in UT Health San Antonio to help train and attract emergency and trauma care doctors.
Officials say the funds will support patient care in Bexar County and help keep physicians in the region after training.
The money will also support UT Health San Antonio's emergency medicine residency program and emergency medical services fellowship program.
