Seven entries were submitted for the September Artist of the Month competition at the recent Kerrville Art Club meeting.

The meeting began with a demonstration by Jeffrey Neel McDaniel, a resident of Corpus Christi and currently splits his time between there and the Frio River.

He said he focuses his art on the beauty of the Texas Coast, Big Bend and the Texas Hill Country.
