(KGNS) - The American Cancer Society's annual fundraiser is underway in Laredo with the Men Wear Pink and Pink Pearls and Heels events.

15 men and women, including educators, business leaders and influencers, will spend the next five weeks raising funds to help those affected by breast cancer.

Two participants have a personal connection to the cause as breast cancer survivors themselves.
