KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - In a statement released by City of Killeen officials, the city terminated its contract with HCS Inc. The contract began in 2023 to renovate and expand the Rosa Hereford Killeen Community Center and Senior Center, the statement said.

The project is ongoing, but inspections have identified construction problems, including issues with roof replacement, flashing installation, and asphalt and concrete work.

The City of Killeen raised the concerns with HSC, but the company did not accept responsibility for the delays or agree to correct the work within the required timeframe, according to the statement.
