Traveler's Cart closes as family of beloved owner files wrongful death lawsuit

Traveler's Cart restaurant in Houston's Montrose Boulevard area will close on July 31, 2024, as the restaurant group faces a wrongful death lawsuit filed by the family of the beloved owner.

Traveler's Cart announced it will close down on Friday, July 31.

The restaurant opened on Montrose Boulevard in October, 2023. It was a spinoff to the restaurant group's Traveler's Table.

In a news release, the group says Traveler's Cart will close on Friday to give the community a chance to enjoy one last meal at the restaurant.
