Bexar County Adult Detention Center passes state inspection, BCSO says

The Bexar County Adult Detention Center passed its annual state inspection conducted by the Texas Commission on Jail Standards on August 18-19.

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas - State inspectors visited the Bexar County Adult Detention Center earlier this month and gave the facility a passing score, the Bexar County Sheriff's Office announced Wednesday.

Four inspectors from the Texas Commission on Jail Standards arrived at the jail unannounced for its annual review between Aug. 18 to Aug. 19, according to the sheriff's office.

The facility's operations, maintenance and inmate care protocols were inspected.
