SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - Volunteers gathered Saturday at the Woodmen Circle Home Cemetery as part of Austin College's Great Day of Service.

Students cleaned headstones and cleared overgrown grass from gravesites, helping preserve the legacies of the women buried there.

The cemetery is part of the history of a nationally recognized women's organization that provided fellowship during hard times.
