SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - A chase that began after a shooting in Tyler ended with a crash that killed four, according to a release from the Tyler Police Department.

The TPD release said officers were called to the 1500 block of Lake Placid road in response to suspicious gunshot noises in the area.

The caller also described a vehicle the alleged shooters were driving, according to the release.
