Rio Hondo bridge temporarily closes for maintenance

The Rio Hondo lift bridge on FM 106 in Harlingen will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday for maintenance, with TxDOT advising drivers to use alternate routes.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - The Rio Hondo lift bridge is closed for a few hours on Friday for maintenance.

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, the bridge on FM 106 will be closed from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. TxDOT advises drivers to plan ahead and seek alternate routes.
