From Groveton ISDGROVETON, Texas - On Friday, August 28th Groveton Independent School District will be honoring former student athlete, Rodney Thomas.

We will have a brief ceremony beginning at 6:30 PM on the high school football field before our 7:00 PM game.

As a high school athlete, Rodney led the Groveton Indians to 32 consecutive victories and back-to-back 2A state championships in 1989 and 1990.
