DENISON, Texas (KXII) - A stretch of Denison's main street was closed part of the day Monday while crews hung some festive hardware.

Festoon lights are going in on the 300 block, from the Jimmy John's to Burnett Avenue.

They are meant to add ambience and enhance nighttime activity.
