The playoff-bound Early Longhorns head into the final Friday night of the 2026 high school football season with the opportunity to earn a share of the District 3-3A Division I championship, with a little help, but could also slide all the way to the fourth seed from the league if things don't go in their favor.

Regardless of who, when and where the Longhorns (7-2, 2-1) may be play next week, their focus this week is on the Llano Yellowjackets (5-4, 1-2) - who visit Early at 7 p.m. Friday - where a victory clears up some of the murkiness.

An Early win and a Wall (8-1, 2-1) victory over Ingram Moore (7-2, 2-1) locks up the No. 2 seed from the district for the Longhorns.
