HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo will hold a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday afternoon for its new multi-million-dollar agricultural complex.
The HLSR announced back in June 2026 that it planned to create the landmark livestock and agricultural complex, which is set to welcome guests in 2029.
Rodeo officials said that the complex has been years in the making and will be built along Highway 288.
