Nancy Pappas has been selected as the recipient of the 2026 Jensie Madden Conservation Award, Comal Conservation's highest honor recognizing outstanding commitment to preserving the land, water and wildlife of Comal County.

The award will be presented at the Hill Country Music Jam on October 24, 2026.

The Jensie Madden Conservation Award was established in memory of conservationist Jensie Simms Madden, whose vision and leadership inspired countless efforts to protect the Hill Country's natural resources.
