(KGNS) - Residents of El Azteca are raising concerns after stakes appeared near neighborhood parks and green spaces, marking locations they believe a border wall project could affect.

Jose Julio Ortiz, a neighborhood resident, said the wall could block Water Street and take away property.

He also said residents worked to clean and survey the area."By them putting it here, the wall is going to end up blocking off Water Street. All the way down to where it curves and then it goes back. A lot of the property is going to be taken away. And a lot of it that we worked hard to clean and to survey will be destroyed," Ortiz said.
