Homeland Security Investigations McAllen conducted an enforcement operation in the upper Rio Grande Valley as part of an ongoing criminal investigation, with assistance from the Texas Department of Public Safety.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) - Homeland Security Investigations McAllen is conducting an enforcement operation in the upper Valley, a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokesperson confirmed Friday afternoon.

The operation is part of an ongoing criminal investigation.

A spokesperson for the Texas Department of Public Safety confirmed the agency assisted in the operation.
