CONVERSE, Texas - Judson ISD police are investigating after a stabbing unfolded at Metzger Middle School on Wednesday morning, district officials confirmed to KSAT.

Trustee Jose Macias told KSAT that he was informed that at least two students were involved in a stabbing at the middle school, located on Binz Engleman Road near Woodlake Parkway on the East Side.

The "student-related incident" happened during a scheduled lockdown drill Wednesday morning, according to Judson ISD's Director of Communications Lexie Greathouse.
