Hundreds of Fort Bend ISD students will attend different schools in the coming years after trustees approved new middle and high school attendance boundaries.

The Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved High School Boundary Scenario 1, choosing the option that moves fewer students while rejecting a more sweeping proposal recommended by the superintendent to further relieve crowding at Elkins High School.

Under the approved plan, 473 students will eventually move from Elkins High School to Clements High School.
