HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The family of a 13-year-old girl who was allegedly sexually assaulted by a former Harris County Sheriff's deputy has filed a lawsuit against a dating app.

Former deputy Nicholas Burbridge is accused of meeting a girl, who he reportedly knew was a minor, on a dating app and offering to buy her edibles back in March.
