A Spring man is being held on a $1 million bond after investigators say he severely injured his girlfriend's 2-year-old daughter - repeatedly - over the course of several days.

Gerardo Gonzalez is charged with injury to a child.

Prosecutors say the charge could be upgraded depending on whether the girl survives.
