ANDERSON COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Robert Roberson's defense team is asking a court to schedule an in-person or video status conference as soon as possible to set dates and parameters for a hearing on new evidence in his appeals case.

According to a motion filed Monday, Roberson's team says that during the last court hearing in April, all parties agreed to the initial scope of evidence to be considered, but the court also expressly left open the possibility that more evidence could be allowed.
