Each year around Halloween, businesses and community organizations line FM 2673 to hand out candy and bring residents together during the Sattler Trunk-or-Treat.

This year's event is taking place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31. "Thousands of people walk up and down 2673 and do trick-or-treating, because we don't have a lot of neighborhoods and everybody's kind of sparse," said Tiffany Quiring, executive director of the Community Resource and Recreation Center (CRRC) of Canyon Lake.

For businesses and community organizations not located along FM 2673, they are invited to set up in the CRRC parking lot to participate in the event.
