As cooler temperatures approach, the Kerrville Public Utility Board is helping residents prepare their homes for winter and find ways to save energy and money.

KPUB is partnering with the Alamo Area Council of Governments and the Dietert Center to host a free Community Home Energy Event from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 12, in the Grill Room at the Dietert Center, 451 Guadalupe St. in Kerrville.

The come-and-go event allows residents to stop by at their convenience.
