Michael Martinez scored four touchdowns and quarterback Nate Luna threw three touchdown passes to lead the Pleasanton Eagles to a 48-21 victory over the Medina Valley Creek View Cougars on Friday, Sept. 25, in the Class 4A District 14 opener for both teams.

Pleasanton exploded early, building a 35-14 lead by halftime and accumulating 571 total yards of offense.

"I thought our kids played a great game at Creekview," Pleasanton head coach Randy Palmer said.
