Three La Vernia High School coaches have been selected by the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) and Texas Farm Bureau Insurance as the Region 7 4A Regional Head Coach and Assistant Coach of the Year for 4A golf and tennis.

Congratulations to: *Noah Recker - Regional Head Coach of the Year, Region 7 4A Girls Tennis *Kevin Schier - Regional Head Coach of the Year, Region 7 4A Girls Golf *Chad Pierce - Regional Assistant Coach of the Year, Region 7 4A Girls Golf.

THSCA members are offered a chance to nominate a head coach and/or assistant coach for the Coach of the Year award after the state championships in each sport.
