Uvalde County commissioners may revise their "Truth in Taxation" calendar Aug. 24, pushing back budget planning dates.

A Leader-News review of the proposed revisions and the previous calendar identified the following changes: Commissioners would review a final draft of the 2026-27 budget at the Aug. 24 meeting.

A final budget would typically be approved on Sept. 8.
