HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A now-former Harris County Sheriff's deputy is facing an attempted sexual assault charge after court documents said he allegedly threatened a woman with arrest unless she performed sexual acts on him while he was on duty.
Court documents said in April 2025, now-former Harris County Sheriff's deputy Dohnya Dozier made that threat, and investigators said Dozier then drove the woman to a hotel room, began unbuckling his belt, but then the incident ended.
Court records also state that Dozier admitted to having sexual encounters with roughly 12 women while in uniform.
