Road work prompting night closures on Interstate 2 in Mercedes
The Texas Department of Transportation is closing westbound lanes on Interstate 2 in Mercedes this week for overnight pavement repairs.

HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) -- The Texas Department of Transportation is alerting drivers of overnight lane closures happening this week in Mercedes.
The overnight closures will be in effect on westbound lanes of Interstate 2 between Mile 1 Road and International Boulevard.
