The newly formed Cross Timbers Ducks Unlimited Varsity Chapter is inviting area middle and high school students to put their outdoor knowledge and conservation skills to the test during Cross Timbers Challenge Night, Monday, October 19, at the Goldthwaite Pavilion.

Hosted by the Texas Botanical Gardens & Native American Interpretive Center, Cross Timbers DU Varsity is a community-based youth conservation program open to students in grades 6-12 from Goldthwaite and communities throughout Central Texas.

Challenge Night will trade the traditional meeting format for an evening of competition, hands-on activities and conservation challenges.
